Step 1: Locate Your Client

The first step is to locate your client. Use the search box to find your client’s name. Once you’ve found the client, click on their name to access their records.

Step 2: Access Consent Form

Now, navigate to the plan section and search for the consent form. Click on “Surgery Consent Form” and Vetpity will generate a new form for your client.

Step 3: Save Your Progress

Before moving on, remember to save your progress. You can do this by clicking the save button in the form.

Step 4: View and Share Consent Form

Next, return to the electronic medical record (EMR) by clicking “Common Patient Medical Record”. From here, you can click the print or email button. This will open a new window where you can view the consent form in full.

Step 5: Electronic Signatures

VetBuddy also includes a signature feature which allows you to add secure electronic signatures to your consent forms. This is a great way to ensure your forms are legally binding and it saves you time by eliminating the need for physical signatures.

Step 6: Sign and Print

Once the e-signing is done, click on “Sign and Print”. You can choose to send the consent form to the client’s email address in either PDF or HTML format.

Conclusion

And that’s it! VetBuddy takes care of the rest, so you can sit back, relax, and focus on providing the best care for your clients’ pets. Thank you for watching this tutorial. We hope you found it helpful and look forward to helping you streamline your veterinary practice with VetBuddy.
